How to install stock ROM using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL)
This tutorial shows instructions on how to turn on stock firmware using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) on any Qualcomm Smartphone and Tablet.
Before proceeding with the firmware lighting process, be sure to follow the steps below to prepare the process for a smooth flash.
Preparations:
Take a backup copy of your data such as turning on stock firmware using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader Tool (QFIL) erasing all your data and settings.
Make sure your device has at least 50-60% remaining battery before proceeding with the charging process.
Flash Stock ROM uses Qualcomm Flash Image Loader Tool (QFIL).
Step 1: Download and install Qualcomm USB Driver on your Windows computer. If you already have installed drivers, you can skip this step.
Step 2: Download and download the stock ROM firmware on your Android device to your computer.
Step 3: Download Qualcomm Flash Image Loader Tool (QFIL) and download it to your computer. Once uninstalled, you will see the files, as shown in the image below.
Step 4: Launch Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL) by opening the “QFIL.exe” file.
Step 5: Now, turn off your phone and connect to the computer using the USB cable while pressing and holding the Volume Up button.
Step 6: Now, in QFIL Tool, click “Browse” and find the firmware (.mbn) you downloaded in Step # 2.
Step 7: Once you have added the firmware file, QFIL will automatically upload all the firmware data.
Step 8: Finally, click the “Download” button to start the flashing process.
Step 9: The delivery process may take 5-10 minutes to complete.
Step 10: When you are done, your device will restart automatically.
Congratulations! You have now successfully launched Stock Firmware using Qualcomm Flash Image Loader (QFIL).
